Every time I visit your gallery I wish I could remember more from my art history classes, because I always think I see your inspiration, but many times can't quite put my finger on the name.....Then my next thought is that I wish I had time and space to paint again...your work is inspiring and beautiful!...Matisse would love this one!.....vf

Your comments Karen mean so much to me; thank you. I started painting when I left hectic NYC to live in the gentle South. My art comes from staring at a white canvas, having a thought or great memory and just "attacking." May I say that YOU MUST START PAINTING -- find a small space and 1 hour a day and "attack."
