Bill ~ this is beautiful, wonderful, destined to be a classic . . . although I am happily married for 41 years (not all were happy years) I can very much appreciate this beautiful, humorous, classic, communication. Super Job . . . wish I had painted it!

Thanks for the chuckle, Bill. That little 'Exit' sign is just a perfect touch to the whole mood.

Ha ha look at this!!! I've never been on a blind date and this is exactly why I wouldn't!!! You are incredibly gifted at capturing the human condition......WONDERFUL L/F
Bill OConnor replied:
Sarah -- Blind Date -- if it doesn't work out at least there's a funny memory to it!
Bonita Brandt
This started my day off with a good laugh....on myself...been there and done that, as they say. Hilarious!

Everything is screaming, "Let me out of here!!" What a fun piece and I love the colors! Fabulous, as usual!! v/f
Bill OConnor replied:
Thanks Lenore, right-on comment! When I owned restaurants in NYC I caught spot "Blind Daters" a mile away. Always "rooted" for them -- hoping they would click.
Vicki Wilcox
Somehow I missed this one!!! I've never had a blind date, but I can certainly imagine it would be something like this!! One of my favs. of yours now. L/F

I can relate to this Bill, lol! I suppose it's a universal theme, right? Wonderful depiction of the ordinary, everyday, everyman. So very compelling and creative! v/f
Bill OConnor replied:
Jacqueline -- thanks! I think that the only thing they had in common was the Exit sign!
Bill OConnor
Eliza --thanks!! I bet they both hit the exit at the same time (probably the only thing they had in common, escape)!
