To my view, art is supposed to be easy to the eyes, but conflicted to the mind. This one does that. I love simple art, and meaningful.

Bill OConnor replied:

thanks Lou.

Rosemary -- sometimes I don't get his "gist." However, after spending time with some of his pieces (Lapin Agile, i.e.) I say "yeah, that's it"!

Great! Love her pensive mood! L/F Picasso was born in Malaga, and we have his museum here. Interesting to visit!

Well done!

Bill OConnor replied:

Thanks Jeff -- spent a few days looking at Picasso's art --early stuff conventionally good -- later great to wacky to simple.

Maybe you will be surprised dear friend but I do not like Picasso's works, well, very few of them...I like yours after him because of her sad expression, which I am today...I made the mistake of hearing my husband's recorder voice. F/L.

Bill OConnor replied:

Clothilde -- tomorrow is another day. Re Picasso -- his early work was more conventional, not outstanding - - he was such an egotist -- however; some of the stuff he came up with is kinda cool.
