Such a beautifully composed portrait of this elegant woman! It is fantastic how expertly you communicate her expression with just a few lines! Love the way you painted this also - reminds me of a wonderful collage with great texture - the flowers and vase really pop while the juxtaposition of the planes are very effective with your choice of fabulous vibrant blues and purples against soothing neutral colors. Iris -- thanks Iris! I saw her on the second floor. They had the store so wonderfully decorated for Christmas. Everyone had the holiday spirit: except her of course. She felt that she was just so "special."
