Mr. Bill, my dear sir, you have a uniquely beautiful style of painting I don't remember seeing anywhere else. I love your bio as well. I was touched by it. Next time you're in Manitou Springs or anywhere near our neck of the woods, please let me know. It would be great to say hello to you in person and shake your hand. You never know; we might be able to swap a few art-related lies over a cup of joe. Or better yet, I can have the honor of being your personal tour guides and lead you astray. How do you feel about that? Merry Christmas, merry ho ho, happy new year, and all that good jazz.

Bill OConnor replied:

Bijan --your gallery shows your takent, your great eye for creating. A treat. We might be going Colorado Springs in early summer --will call!

About Bill OConnor

Bill OConnor

Years ago, when I was just a young guy tending bar in New York City, I befriended the author Kurt Vonnegut. During a night of riotous drinking, he introduced me to the artist Nicademis Hufford. They became like older brothers to me. Later on Nick, in his attempt to prod me, jokingly said "Bill, if you want to hang with us, you should either learn how to write or paint." Thank you Nick. ' After many years of owning restaurants in New York, and my subsequent career in the legal profession, I realized that I enjoyed painting above all else -- I hope you enjoy my work. P.S. -- Any of my art that you purchase will not have the Fine Art America Stamp on it. Bill All images are copyright © Bill O'Connor. All materials contained may...
