What rich, brilliant green ! Much kudos to you, my man. Words of wisdom for today : If you're lucky enough to live in the mountains, you're lucky enough. Here in Colorado high country, I live in a small town at 9100 feet above sea level. America's favorite mountain, Pikes Peak towers over us by about 5000 feet. It's 14115 feet. Come see us if you get a chance. You'd be glad you did. We have 54 mountains higher than 14000 feet we call fourteeners and another 700 or so summits higher than 13000 feet we call thirteeners.

About Bill OConnor

Bill OConnor

Years ago, when I was just a young guy tending bar in New York City, I befriended the author Kurt Vonnegut. During a night of riotous drinking, he introduced me to the artist Nicademis Hufford. They became like older brothers to me. Later on Nick, in his attempt to prod me, jokingly said "Bill, if you want to hang with us, you should either learn how to write or paint." Thank you Nick. ' After many years of owning restaurants in New York, and my subsequent career in the legal profession, I realized that I enjoyed painting above all else -- I hope you enjoy my work. P.S. -- Any of my art that you purchase will not have the Fine Art America Stamp on it. Bill All images are copyright © Bill O'Connor. All materials contained may...
