...thanks Nancy -- this was my boyhood Summer farm in the Catskills (Windham) -- farmer Ray Pierce was my surrogate father each Summer (the ocean in the painting was added; why not?)

thanks Vivian. This, Windham, was my Summer home each year (for many years). Farmer Ray Pierce, my surrogate father, took a lonely Bronx boy under his wing; he and Myrtle showed me how to work a farm while showering me with love.
