Like many of your paintings. You are not afraid of colors. Great compositions.

Bill OConnor replied:

...thanks Avi -- I just naturally tend to use many colors -- I tried to use a limited pallet in "Twilight" (first painting). Nice comment Avi; thanks.

Studio Tolere -- just studied your "Shaman 1" (wonderful and I love the medium) -- Thank you for compliment -- interesting when I'm too lazy to set up paints and just grab some pencils, seeing where it will go.

Vivian -- thank you -- I just visited your work; I had a wonderful time. I see that we have a similar palette -- and that our ideas are "all over the place." Isn't life wonderful?

Nikki -- Your "Summer Blooms" remind me somewhat of my "Gold Vase" -- and thank you for the compliment.

So interesting Bill. You hold the feeling in the details, beginning with the way her hands curve into the vase. Why I am an art addict. v

About Bill OConnor

Bill OConnor

Years ago, when I was just a young guy tending bar in New York City, I befriended the author Kurt Vonnegut. During a night of riotous drinking, he introduced me to the artist Nicademis Hufford. They became like older brothers to me. Later on Nick, in his attempt to prod me, jokingly said "Bill, if you want to hang with us, you should either learn how to write or paint." Thank you Nick. ' After many years of owning restaurants in New York, and my subsequent career in the legal profession, I realized that I enjoyed painting above all else -- I hope you enjoy my work. P.S. -- Any of my art that you purchase will not have the Fine Art America Stamp on it. Bill All images are copyright © Bill O'Connor. All materials contained may...
