What a nice evocation of good times, big outdoor memories. Lovely that you had a cabin in the woods...no wonder you paint so beautifully. Feel so deeply. Stay safe...we'll all be out and about soon! F/L++
Bill OConnor replied:
HI NANCY!!! thanks -- yes, those were the days. Belle Harbor beach home (20 miles from midtown Manhattan). The cabin, we'd visit constantly (moose, deer, coyotes, etc.) a billion stars at night - canoeing into town - winter snowshoeing - no tv, no internet; just books and good country friends - a good life!

LOL, Bill, good to hear from you...miss you too, am quiet (for me!!!) too. Um, ya left of "and thou", after the whisky. Stay strong. Can't imagine the isolation (worse!) of year round residency! even though so beautiful. Here for you always, VIVA.

hi Viv "miss you." I've been quiet lately. Wonderful, poetic comments much appreciated - perks me up. Thank you. The drawing is of our cabin in the Adirondacks - moose, bears, kayaks, hiking, fishing and, of course, BLACK FLIES MAY, jUNE, jULY. THE CALMEST, MOST WONDERFUL TIME IN MY LIFE. Would go there year 'round -- Winter too; freezing temps, sky full of stars, a touch of aurora borealis, a roaring fire, Irish whisky.
