About Bill OConnor
Years ago, when I was just a young guy tending bar in New York City, I befriended the author Kurt Vonnegut. During a night of riotous drinking, he introduced me to the artist Nicademis Hufford. They became like older brothers to me. Later on Nick, in his attempt to prod me, jokingly said "Bill, if you want to hang with us, you should either learn how to write or paint." Thank you Nick. P.S. -- Any of my art that you purchase will not have the Fine Art America Stamp on it. Bill All images are copyright © Bill O'Connor. All materials contained may...

I love the "s" on that word. I didn't even begin having sweethearts until college. Very fun painting, Bill!!!
Bill OConnor replied:
Nancy --the blond and the redhead! As the bible says "young man give joy to thy youth." Even then, the hair was a bit much!
