Bill I'm having the same thing happen. I'm honing my sketching skills in the hopes that I can bring some of those memories out of my little punkin' head and into the world. I love that you're doing exactly that!!! I can sometimes feel the connection ... the heartbeat of the artist ... in a piece that has a lot of emotion for the artist. I sense it in your work a LOT!!!!! It's magnetic to the viewer. It's absolutely indefinable ... but always a joy!!!!!!

Lois -- we are all on our personal journeys aren't we? When we meet a kindred spirit we look at them and see a little bit of ourselves. A warm, wonderful feeling, n'est pas? Then, suddenly, life puts us back on our journey into childhood -- a rebirth perhaps

wonderful comments Lois - thank you! The older I get the more I remember my childhood -- a boy from the Bronx spending Summers wandering solo in the mountains touching, feeling and tasting the quiet of nature.
